The Friends of Choate Park welcomes friends of four-wheelers to the second annual “Touch A Truck” fundraiser on October 28, 2006 from 10 a.m. to noon. (Rain date is October 29th.)

Families are invited to come in Halloween costume and join in a Halloween costume parade on the beach at 11 a.m.; all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Kids of all ages are welcome to explore every type of truck imaginable, thanks to the generous participation of local organizations. Over 20 vehicles will be open for children to discover and ask questions about, including a motorcycle, police car, fire engine, ambulance, dump truck, front-end loader, and many more.

Other activities for children include face painting, temporary tattoos, and a prize wheel and games with the WMRC Road Crew.

Cost
Admission is $5 per person; children under the age of one are free. All donations are tax deductible and benefit the Friends of Choate Park, a 501c3 nonprofit organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to the preservation, maintenance and stewardship of historic Choate Park in Medway, located off Route 109. Parking is available at Cassidy Field off Winthrop Street.
