The event aims to raise funds for the Foundation’s research, education and advocacy programs.
Nationwide, as many as 7.5 million people are affected by the disease.

Psoriasis, a noncontagious, chronic disease of the immune system, appears on the skin causing red, scaly patches.

These patches, often painful and itchy, can appear on any part of the body.

Additionally, up to 30 percent of people with psoriasis develop psoriatic arthritis.

People with psoriasis are at risk of developing other serious conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and depression.
