On Monday, October 14, 2013 at 10:00am, we are hosting the annual event, which is the Weymouth Food Pantry’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
Through the walk, we not only raise funds to $tock Our $helves for the coming busy winter season, but we also raise necessary monies to keep the Pantry in operation for the more than 400 families who come through our doors each month.
The event, hosted at the Immaculate Conception Parish Hall, will include scores of Weymouth residents and school groups as they gather in the morning for the two-mile walk to raise awareness of the needs of the Weymouth Food Pantry.
After the walk, we have refreshments and raffles for all participants.
Those who raise $30 or more will also receive an $.O.$.

For every $1.00 donated, the Food Pantry is able to obtain $7.00 worth of healthy and nourishing food through the Greater Boston Food Bank.
Together, we have a wonderful opportunity to join hands in support of the families in Weymouth –our neighbors– who rely on Weymouth Food Pantry services.
