ACA New England Camp Champions Honoring Eliza Dushku

The evening celebrates the true spirit of camp, and all net proceeds will help to bring the summer camp experience to the area’s children-in-need through ACA New England’s Campership Fund.
The evening kicks off at 7:00 pm and includes hors d’oeuvres, Fenway Park tours (which begin at 6:00), a delicious dinner buffet overlooking the field with beer and wine available, a raffle and silent auction, and photo ops with Red Sox mascot Wally – an overall fun program designed to delight and inspire a camp committed crowd of guest.
More than 150 children ages 6-16 had the chance to attend day and overnight camps in all six New England states as a result of last year’s Camp Champion Celebration.
These camperships were a result of fundraising efforts from last year’s celebration, which honored Boston Mayor Thomas Menino.
ACA New England will present Eliza Dushku with the 2013 Camp Champions Award for her extraordinary work developing a program for girls at Camp Hale in New Hampshire where girls and young women from the Boston area can experience first-hand how life-changing camp can be.
“Eliza believes in camp and believes that there is camp for everyone,” said Bette Bussell, Executive Director of ACA New England.
“She also went there and served as a counselor in 2013.
Eliza Dushku truly defines a ‘Camp Champion’.”
