The event is raising money to:
- Increase food access and education through partnerships and food corps
- Install edible gardens in Boston's outdoor classrooms in over 20 schools
- Establish a new teacher forum for Boston and Cambridge educators to learn and share best practices for garden-based learning
- Expand to more Boston public schools
