The gala helps raise money for our programs that protect and promote the rights and opportunities of immigrants and refugees.
Give Liberty a Hand honors those who have contributed to causes which improve the lives of immigrants and refugees, and who serve as exemplary New Americans.
GLAH honorees include:
- Carlos Arredondo, Boston Marathon Hero
- Robert A.
DeLeo, MA Speaker of the House
- Gladys Ortiz, Domestic Violence Victims Advocate
This year’s event will be held on Thursday, May 29, at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel.
MIRA is looking for Sponsors and Silent Auction donations for this event, donors will benefit from extended exposure for your business to thousands of MIRA supporters and hundreds of attendees.
Potential silent auction items may include gift certificates, hotel stays, travel certificates, weekend get-away packages, and vouchers for events and activities in the New England area.
