Barakat’s Walk For Literacy is an annual event dedicated to the empowerment of children and women through education.
Join a diverse community of walkers to raise funds and awareness for our students in Afghanistan and Pakistan – just $25 sends 1 girl to 1 year of elementary school.
Register now for only $30, or for $40 at the door, inclusive of breakfast, lunch and a free T-shirt.
Choose your route: 2.5 or 5 miles.
Then start raising pledges to meet your personal fundraising goal.
All proceeds benefit Barakat’s schools and programs.
Barakat envisions a world where the people of South and Central Asia fully realize their fundamental human right to education.
