PMC Kids Rides became an official PMC program in 2005 as a way to include young cyclists in the Pan-Mass Challenge mission raising money for cancer research & treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund.

The PMC Wilmington-Andover Kids Ride is ready for their 10th event!

Last year was one of our most successful rides yet; we had a beautiful, sunny day and raised over $18,000!

The ride will continue to be headquartered at the Boutwell Elementary School in Wilmington.

We are hoping for 200 children, pre-kindergarten through sixth grade, to ride continuous loops beginning by the Boutwell Elementary School, heading down Carter Lane, continuing past the Wilmington Middle School and West Elementary School grounds then returning back to the Boutwell (approximately one mile).

The children will ride the course as many times as they can in the allotted time.

Kindergarteners and first graders will ride from 9 to 9:30 a.m., second and third graders will ride from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m., and fourth through sixth graders will ride from 10:45-11:45.

There will also be a route for 'tykes on trikes” set up on the Boutwell school tennis courts from 9:00 to approximately 10:00am.

There will be free face painting, music, and refreshments during the ride.
