Hosted by the National Brain Tumor Society, the Connecticut Brain Freeze is an inspiring, family-friendly ocean dip that offers individuals and teams a chance to honor and remember loved ones, raise vital funds, connect with others interested in the cause, and educate the local community on the diverse needs of patients and survivors.
Costumes are encouraged!
All proceeds raised benefit the National Brain Tumor Society (www.braintumor.org), the largest nonprofit organization dedicated to the brain tumor community in the U.S.
and go toward funding the discovery of new treatments, and ultimately, a cure.
Today, nearly 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor, and more than 69,000 others will be diagnosed this year.
There is no registration fee for the Connecticut Brain Freeze, however there is a required fundraising minimum.
With your registration, you gain full access to food, beverages and all event activities.
In addition, you'll have access to an online personal fundraising page.
National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) towels are given out to each registered participant.

Youth ages 8+ and Adults can participate.
If you are under 18, an adult must accompany you at all times.

From New York & West: Take I-95 north to Exit 43. Turn right at end of ramp Campbell Avenue. Travel 1.5 miles to Captain Thomas Boulevard, then turn right. The Savin Rock Conference Center is a half-mile on the left, next to Jimmies restaurant.
From Hartford & North: Take I-91 south to I-95 south to Exit 42. Turn right at end of ramp onto Route 162, Sawmill Road. Proceed 2 miles to Captain Thomas Boulevard. Savin Rock Conference Center is straight ahead.
From Rhode Island & East: Take I-95 south, and follow directions From Hartford & North.
