The fight to build a more perfect democracy is one that Common Cause has waged since our birth over 40 years ago.
In that time, we've always relied on our members and supporters for both grassroots citizen action and our financial support, and that's why we hope you'll join us for our 2016 Building a More Perfect Democracy Brunch!
At this year's awards reception and fundraising gala, we'll be honoring economist, New York Times columnist, and Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman, among others, for his on-going work highlighting the dangers of income inequality and promoting accountable government.
The brunch will be a great opportunity to meet democracy reform leaders, connect with new friends, celebrate past victories, and get ready for the many battles that still lie ahead.
Ticket purchases and donations will go directly to ensuring that our campaigns for a better democracy – one with a government that serves the public interest and in which everyone is empowered to take part - have the resources they need to succeed.
