The Holy Family Parish Handbell Choir of Concord will provide festive holiday music along with vocal soloist, Jianna Voghel, a resident of Concord who is a high school student at the Rivers School Conservatory in Weston.
Following the ceremony, attendees will take a brief walk outside for the tree lighting.
The public is invited to donate a light on the tree in honor or in memory of a loved one, or to commemorate a special event, such as the birth of a baby, an anniversary, or other life milestone.
All donations will directly benefit babies born at Emerson Hospital’s Clough Birthing Center, which the Auxiliary chose as a meaningful way to symbolize the holiday season of joy and hope.
Those who are honored and those who donate are recognized in the Auxiliary’s Tree of Lights Tribute Book which will be on display in Emerson Hospital’s chapel throughout the holiday season.
Donors may sponsor a light that will be displayed on the tree for $20.00.
Please contact The Auxiliary of Emerson Hospital at 978-287-3019 with questions or visit www.emersonhospital.org/treeoflights.
Free parking will be provided for those attending.
Refreshments will be served at the event.
The evergreen tree is illuminated with white lights every night throughout the holiday season.
