Global Voices is a fundraiser dedicated unfolding the personal accounts of people whose lives have been impacted by education.
World Education is proud to recognize the Honorable Sonia Chang-Díaz, Massachusetts State Senator, with the World Education Award.
The event will hosted by Lisa Mullins of WBUR’s All Things Considered and is chaired by Farida Kathawalla, World Education Board of Trustees Development Chair.
The gala will include cocktails, dinner, a silent auction, and an engaging discussion about the lasting impact of education.
Global Voices is also an opportunity to support World Education's programs benefiting more than half-a-million people.
The event will be held at the Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center where World Education implements English for Seaport Team Members, a workplace education program that offers Seaport employees workplace-based English classes for speakers of other languages to help participants more effectively do their jobs and grow their careers.
