Special guests Patrick Downes and Jessica Kensky will read from their children’s book, Rescue and Jessica: A life Changing Friendship – about the love and teamwork between a girl and her service dog.
The Boston Marathon bombing survivors co-authored the book and Downes also read the book to patients at Franciscan Children’s over the summer.
Sparkling apple cider and a goodie bag will be provided for the children and Champagne Afternoon Tea for the adults features a Champagne toast.
Tickets can be purchased individually for USD 78 and no additional cost for up to three accompanying children on Eventbrite.com.
The first five families to purchase tickets will receive *one* complimentary “Mini Mate” plush lobster upon arrival.
The first 10 families at the event who make Thanksgiving Day Reservations while on-site will a complimentary Thanksgiving signature pie (Apple, Pumpkin, Pecan)
