On Monday, April 21st, 2007, I will be running the Boston Marathon on behalf of Good Sports, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides much needed sports and fitness equipment to disadvantaged youth in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I have made the commitment to run 26.2 miles and raise at least $3,000 for Good Sports because as an athlete myself, I understand the importance of sports and fitness in the lives of young people.

In order to achieve my goal, I am hosting a fundraiser on April 13th, 2008 in Arlington, MA featuring a concert by Ben Rudnick and Friends and a magic show by Amazing Kids Magician Franc Karpo.

Bring the whole family to enjoy delicious food, live music, a magic show, and a great raffle in support of Mike Ginns, an Arlington resident, running the 2008 Boston Marathon on behalf of Good Sports, Inc.

All proceeds will go to Good Sports, Inc. -Providing sports equipment, footwear, and apparel to disadvantaged youth helping them to get on the field and on the court living healthy active lifestyles.
