Medway area families are invited to 'Art in the Park' at historic Choate Park off Route 109 in Medway. The event will be held Saturday May 31st from 10a-2p (rain date June 1). Created as a fundraiser for the maintenance of the park, the celebration of all things artistic includes a full day’s schedule of free performers, basket and 50/50 raffles, an 'art court' for children, and much more, thanks to dedicated volunteers from the community.
Entrance to the craft fair and access to the performances are free to the public; the art court featuring craft activities for kids are ticketed events. Entertainers include Medway's own Dale Freeman and Judith Moffatt, Elaine Kessler, Ronda Matson and Jenny the Juggler. Kids and adults are invited bring their own turtle art creations to add to our Community Art Show, a tribute to “Choatie,” the park’s turtle mascot.
