The North Beverly Boundless TM Playground will be built behind the North Beverly Elementary School at 48 Putnam St. in Beverly, MA. A Boundless TM playground is a playground where there are no barriers for children, parents or grandparents who have disabilities. No one will have to leave behind support equipment like wheelchairs or walkers.
Children with sensory disabilities (like visual or hearing impairments) or developmental disabilities (such as Autism or Down syndrome) will have lots to explore, too. What’s more, the very play activities included for children with disabilities are often the most popular with children who have the ability to play anywhere.
The location allows direct access for the children that attend the school and is located in an accessible area to which families can safely bring their children from the Beverly community and beyond. It is anticipated that it will be erected on a designated weekend in the summer of 2009. This playground is for the community and will be built by the dedication and enthusiasm of Beverly and neighboring communities. The North Beverly Boundless TM Playground will be the first of its kind on the North Shore! We look forward to announcing to our children and families in and beyond our community, “Ready, Set, Play!”
The money we raise through this series of events will be used to purchase wheel chair
ramps, universal signing boards, and other equipment for the structure.
The menu will feature some of the Fruitful Basket’s summer time favorites and will be All-Natural, Nitrate Free and Hormone Free!
The cost for the BBQ will be $8.99 for adults and $5.99 for kids under 12, cash or checks only please.
The meal will be your choice of Bobby’s Burgers, Fearless Franks or Smok’n Ribs (Burgers or Franks for kids) accompanied with Country Potato Salad a special Fruitful Basket Green Salad and a slice of the most delicious, fresh and juicy Watermelon you ever had.
ALL proceeds from the Boundless BBQ Wednesday Lunch Bonanza will go to build
The North Beverly Boundless TM Playground at the North Beverly School.
