Walk for Literacy!
Saturday, October 25th, 2008
Registration begins at 8am and closing ceremony will begin at 2:30pm.
The walk will begin and end at Sennott Park in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The nonprofit organization Barakat, Inc. will be holding its first annual Walk for Literacy to help raise funds and awareness. Proceeds from the event will go to support Barakat's 26 literacy programs that serve over 700 girls and women in Afghanistan.

Come walk around Cambridge on a beautiful fall day! There will be free food, music, raffles, and a special guest speaker. Help us take one step forward in girls' education in Afghanistan.
