28th Annual MSPCA-Angell Walk for Animals

2,000 people, along with 1,000 of their pooches, are expected to take part in the 1.5-mile walk around the Boston Common. Come and enjoy a day filled with canine fun from raffles to contests including Biggest Sports Fan, frisbee demonstrations from the famous Blue Dog Group and much more.

You can also teach your dog something new with the MSPCA-Angell’s Animal Care and Adoption Center behaviorist.

Incentives for fundraisers include $300 raised: Free MSPCA-Angell pet bandana, $500 raised: Free MSPCA-Angell bag, $1,000 raised: Free digital camera, $3,000 raised: Free digital photo frame and $5,000 raised: Free portable GPS navigation system.

WHEN: Sunday, September 7, 2008

Registration and activities begin at 11:00 AM.

Walk begins at 12:00 PM.

Activities and animal contests until 2:00 PM.





WHERE: The Boston Common, at the Parkman Bandstand, adjacent to Tremont Street.



PARKING: Parking is available in the Boston Common parking garage.



MBTA: Leashed dogs will be welcome on the T at the discretion of each operator. Nearest T stops
are Park Street & Boylston Street.
