The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) - Angell has partnered with ViniPortugal and the Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e do Porto (IVDP) to host this tasting event, which will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at The Harvard Club of Boston. With over 150 varieties of Portuguese wines and Portos to sample, this event is for the wine novice and the connoisseur. 100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit the MSPCA-Angell’s General Fund in providing direct hands on care for more than 250,000 animals annually through their seven Animal Care and Adoption Centers and state-of-the-art Angell Animal Medical Centers.
