This is the Fourth Annual Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Walk and Family FunFest at Canal Park, behind the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The MitoAction walk is sponsored by Sirtris Pharma, a GSK company investigating therapies for diseases of aging.

Registration for the walk will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the festivities and the walk kicking off at 10:00 a.m. There will be crafts, characters and activities for children, ice cream, music, complimentary snacks and beverages, as well as a raffle.
