Join us for the first annual Spectacle Island 3 Mile Road Race and Kids Fun Run, brought to you by the Boston Harbor Island Alliance. Enjoy panoramic views of Boston Harbor and the city from this historic island. Race day festivities feature a 3 mile race, a half-mile Kids Fun Run, a bbq lunch for participants provided by Jasper White’s Summer Shack, music, and kids' activities.
Schedule of Events:
8:00am, 8:20am, 8:45am and 9:30am: special event ferry departures from Long Wharf, Boston to Spectacle Island.
8:15‐9:20am: Participants may pick up event registration materials upon arrival at Spectacle
Island.
9:30am: 3 Mile Race
10:45am: “Race to the Saddle” half‐mile fun run for children under 12
11:30am: Award ceremony, bbq lunch and post‐race festivities
10:50am; 11:50am; 12:50pm; 1:50pm; 2:50pm; 3:50pm; 4:50pm; 5:50pm: Return ferries from Spectacle Island to Long Wharf, Boston
