Circle The City promotes healthy, active living in Boston through connecting people to some of our greatest urban resources--our parks.
Circle The City draws people out of their homes and cars and onto safe, car-free streets for walking, biking, rolling and outdoor fun.
Special thanks to our Lead Sponsors for 2012-13, the Barr Foundation and Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA.
Selected as a 2012 Urban Signature Project of the America’s Great Outdoors, Circle The City is a collaborative project of the Emerald Necklace Conservancy, the Boston Collaborative for Food and Fitness, Boston Cyclists Union, Sustainability Guild International, LivableStreets Alliance and the City of Boston.
Circle The City goals include encouragement of healthy engagement with our parks by all residents of Boston, improving neighborhood accessibility to parks and open space, gathering the community for walking, biking and other free activities on safe, car-free streets, and increasing the involvement of youth in our parks.
