Children as young as three months old can learn to swim with Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy, a program that focuses on safety, swimming fundamentals and flexibility for parents.

Children can begin lessons at any time - they don’t have to wait for a class to begin.

Children progress through the program at their own pace and can take lessons year-round.

Progress is captured in personal swimming journals complete with fun exercises and positive reinforcement.

JCC Greater Boston is the only organization in the Boston area to offer the Swim Academy, created by four-time U.S.

Olympic gold medalist (2000, 2004) Lenny Krayzelburg and hosted at the Leventhal-Sidman Center at 333 Nahanton Street in Newton.

An evaluation is needed in order to take lessons and be enrolled in the program.
