Using the light from the March full moon, sometimes referred to as the “Full Worm Moon,” we’ll navigate around the park listening for the sounds of nature in late winter and observing how different the park appears at night.
We'll also learn some interesting park history.
Enjoy the magic of a peaceful winter’s evening and the soft glow of the full moon shining on Bird Park.
Meet at the park entrance at the parking lot of the Union Congregational Church (55 Rhoades Avenue, East Walpole).
Some of the paths we’ll be walking are unpaved and/or uneven.
Please bring a flashlight, just in case the light of the moon isn’t sufficient to light your way!
