Earlier this month a small fire occurred aboard the USS Salem, the seasonal home of Ghost Ship Harbor. The fire was quickly extinguished by staff prior to the arrival of the Quincy Fire Department, no one was injured and damage from the fire was minimal. Unfortunately, as a result of this incident, we are not able to reopen this season.

It's back! Ghost Ship Harbor returns for a third season of terror on the USS Salem in the Quincy Shipyard.

This year more attractions are being added, creating over 100,000 'scare' feet of space with completely updated haunts, scare zones, paranormal ghost hunts and more.

Ghost Ship Harbor is the only destination haunted attraction in the Boston area and the only one on the East Coat taking place on the deck of a 716-foot heavy cruiser (battleship).

Sure to horrify, petrify and force you to confront your fears with a series of twisted experiences, Ghost Ship Harbor pulls into port September 28th for six weeks. In 2018, Ghost Ship Harbor was named the Scariest Haunted Attraction in Massachusets by Fodor's Travel.

Tickets prices begin at $34.99 and vary depending on the night. Ticket Prices on-site are $5 higher on all price points.

Ghost Ship Harbor is a totally Immersive Haunted Attraction experience. For 2018 there are 4 all new attractions on site. Contagion, The Plague, Fear no Evil, and The Paranormal VIP Experience. The Paranormal VIP Expereience is an upgraded experience you get with the Paranormal VIP ticket.

About the USS Salem
The third USS Salem (CA-139) is one of three Des Moines-class heavy cruisers completed for the United States Navy shortly after World War II.

Commissioned in 1949, she was the world's last all-gun heavy cruiser to enter service.

She was decommissioned in 1959, after serving in the Atlantic and Mediterranean.

She is open to the public as a museum ship in Quincy, Massachusetts.
