This special story time will include props and puppets that show children how to appreciate the many magnificent aspects of nature. After her performance, children can make a fun related craft. Painting of Earth-inspired pottery pieces will be discounted for attendees.
Ms. Katz is the author of Barefoot Books' new title, My Mama Earth, an imaginative and lyrical picture book that showcases the love between a mother and child, as well as the ever-changing beauty of the natural world. Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Taking the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop brings you across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
