“Creativity is intelligence having fun.” - Albert Einstein
In partnership with the Imagination Foundation, The Phoenix School will host its first Cardboard Challenge on Saturday, October 5 from 9am - noon at The Phoenix School in Salem.
The Challenge is a worldwide celebration of creativity and imagination where everyone is challenged to design and create using cardboard and recycled materials.
The Challenge culminates around the world on the global Day of Play, October 5, 2013.
Inspired by the short film “Caine’s Arcade,' about a young boy who spent his summer vacation building an elaborate cardboard arcade, students and adults are challenged to create and build arcade games with cardboard, recycled materials and imagination.
The Phoenix School’s Global Cardboard Challenge is an opportunity for kids, parents, students of all ages, adults -- everyone!-- to join in the FUN!
