The event is FREE for all attendees, and will focus on health, fitness, safety, and literacy for children and their families.
Every attendee will receive a free bag when they enter the event, filled with giveaways from local businesses as well as tip sheets detailing important safety and health messages. Also, every attendee will be able to choose a book to take home with them.
There will be a large section of the event dedicated to health and fitness including samples of nutritious foods and beverages and easy and fun ways to stay active and play. Live entertainment will be provided all day on the main stage. Over 100 exhibitors will each provide a unique craft or activity for attendees at their booth space.
Other activities will include a soccer shoot-out area, football toss, costume characters, bounce houses, obstacle course, scavenger hunt, baseball pitching station, princess characters, photo booth, clowns, rock climbing wall, dance, dance revolution, coloring contest, and so much more.
Each participant in the safety-education scavenger hunt will receive a prize for completing the course. Each participant in the coloring contest will receive a prize for their submission, and then two winners will receive new bikes with helmets.
