Join our celebration of International Women's Day (March 8) with stories of inspiring girls, women and grand-women from around the world.

All welcome to this free storytime.

At 4pm, Susanne Liebich of GirlPower invites girls (ages 8+) to learn self-care skills that include relaxation, breathing, stress release and more.

GirlPower’s holistic camp wellness program (in its 6th summer), brings together girls (ages 10-14) with different interests and abilities to learn, explore, exercise, create – resulting in positive self-awareness and enhanced coping skills.

Pre-registration requested for GirlPower workshop.

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Taking the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop brings you across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
