Ginger’s powerful presentation is a unique opportunity for the community to come together to help fight substance abuse and save the lives of our young people.
Ginger’s presentation will address the following issues:
• Understanding why kids use drugs
• Signs to look for in terms of drug use and abuse
• Addiction and its impact on families
• Alcohol and drug prevention
• The code of silence and its dangers
• Learning how to recognize risky behaviors
• What to do if your child is using or experimenting with drugs, including alcohol.
This presentation is free and open to the public and made possible through the generosity of Lowell General Hospital, with additional support from the Westford Parent Connection.
Parents and children are encouraged to attend together.
