Walking, Biking, Dancing and Play take over Boston Streets with Circle The City, Boston’s Open Streets, Open Parks project!
We welcome people of all ages to play in a city that has so much talent and community spirit to share with Circle the City.
With Circle The City Open Streets, Open Parks events, Boston joins cities around the world that are creating temporary open space in the heart of urban communities to celebrate the opportunity to get out and active together.
Free and open to everyone, Circle The City will temporarily transform Huntington and Blue Hill Avenues, signature corridors of Boston, into 'paved parks', featuring fitness clinics, biking and walking tours, kids’ games, yoga, art activities, live music and dance classes.
On Sunday, July 14 Avenue of the Arts, featuring car-free programming on the outbound side of Huntington Avenue between Belvidere Street and Brigham Circle (Tremont St).
On Sunday, September 29 City will present Open Streets on Blue Hill Avenue, featuring car-free programming between Franklin Park and Dudley Common (Dudley St) along Blue Hill Ave.
Both events are free to the public and will run from 11am-4pm.
