In this two hour class, herbalist Hannah Sparks will introduce various herbs and the ways to use them, including hyssop, echinacea, thyme, astragalus, elder berry and elecampane.
She will discuss common issues surrounding colds and flus, such as sinus congestion, coughs and sore throats, and effective and safe preparations you can use.
Participants can expect to touch, smell and taste herbs from ifarm’s permaculture garden, get tips and tricks from an experienced herbalist, and go home with thorough notes for creating their own remedies.
