Our promise is to help strengthen communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. As part of the Y’s commitment to healthy living, our goal is to improve the health and well-being of kids and to inspire healthy habits that will continue into adulthood.
Healthy Kids Day, the Y’s national initiative to improve families’ health and well-being, is being celebrated by 1,600 YMCAs this year. The event encourages healthier behaviors through exercise and nutrition, in alignment with our Healthy Futures Initiative.
