Join the Appalachian Mountain club for a walk along the Ridge Trail, taking in the scenery and looking for wildlife along the way.
We plan on walking around 1 mile round trip, and there are some stairs and uphill portions, but the trail is wide and great for beginner hikers.
We will meet at the top of Prospect Hill, near the scenic overlook, at 3:30 PM.

The park entrance is on Totten Pond Road in Waltham. From Totten Pond Road, drive past the playground and follow the road to the scenic overlook/Ridge Trail. Parking is available at the top near the overlook.
