Letterboxing is an outdoor scavenger hunt to find find-made stamps hidden along the trail by other hikers. Join the Appalachian Mountain Club to find a series of three.
Ford built this dam to create a reservoir for Longfellow's Wayside Inn, but it never held water.
Dam is fenced on either side and safe to cross.

Bring your own notebook or journal to collect the stamp images.
Black ink provided.
Cancels for rain.
Wear close-toed shoes, long pants to protect against poison ivy, layers, and bring water and snacks as needed.
Adult must accompany child.
