Join us for this 1-mile letterboxing walk in the woods to walk over the huge stone dam built by Henry Ford, the founder of Ford Motor Company.

Letterboxing is an outdoor scavenger hunt to find find-made stamps hidden along the trail by other hikers. Join the Appalachian Mountain Club to find a series of three.

Ford built this dam to create a reservoir for Longfellow's Wayside Inn, but it never held water.

Dam is fenced on either side and safe to cross.
