Legend has it that victims of the Salem Witch Trials escaped here to start a new life, living in caves within the woods, before building homes nearby.
Rolling trails, including the Bay Circuit Trail, lead through the forest rich with animal life.
Join this short hike to explore the forest with your family.*
Wear layers, comfy walking shoes and bring water.
Registration is encouraged, email with your name, number in your group and ages of children to register.
