Ford built this dam to create a reservoir for Longfellow's Wayside Inn, but it never held water.
Obsessed with historical accuracy, Ford had the dam created using historic masonry techniques and labor practices.
Dam is fenced on either side and safe to cross.
Wear close-toed shoes, layers, and bring water and snacks as needed.
Adult must accompany child.
Holiday programs fill fast, and registration is strongly encouraged.
To register, email with your name, number of participants and children's ages.
*December - May, programs may change in nature or cancel due to winter weather.
