Join this family hike with the Appalachian Mountain Club to see the 'witches caves,' an area steeped in the history of the Salem Witch Trials.

This forest once belonged to Governor Danforth, who may have allowed the victims of the trials to escape to his land.

Come enjoy the early winter, rolling trails, and history with the kids.

Learn to sing family-friendly songs from the Colonial period and learn about the Nipmuc tribe, the original inhabitants, whose language stays with us today.

Wear close-toed shoes, layers, and bring water.

Adult must accompany child.

Holiday programs fill fast, and registration is strongly encouraged.

To register, email AMCOutdoorsRx@outdoors.org with your name, number of participants and children's ages.

*December - March, programs may change in nature or cancel due to winter weather.

Updates will be posted on the Outdoors Rx website
