Join the Appalachian Mountain Club for a family hike at Prospect Hill Park! This historic park is home to many species of wildlife and native plants.

We will follow the trail through the forest to the top of Prospect Hill, which at 435 ft.

in elevation is one of the highest points in the Boston area and offers fantastic views of the city.

Note that we are meeting at the South entrance on Prospect Hill Road.

Please wear warm layers and sturdy footwear for hiking uphill on a forested trail.

Registration is strongly encouraged.

To register, please email AMCOutdoorsRx@outdoors.org with the number of participants and ages of kids.

*December - March, programs may change in nature or cancel due to weather conditions.

We will meet at the South entrance on Prospect Hill Road. From Main Street/117 in Waltham, turn onto Prospect Hill Road (across from the Party store). Take the second left to stay on Prospect Hill Road, and follow the road to the right. Look for the gate at the top of the hill. Limited street parking is available.
