Habitrek (Ages 6-10)
Saturday, May 15, 2021, 10:30 AM-12 PM M: $9 CHILD, $6 ADULT; NM: $15 CHILD, $18 ADULT Join us as we explore the trails and gardens in search of local plant and animal species.

We will investigate how living and non-living things interact within different ecosystems and learn what these organisms need to survive and reproduce.

Children practice collecting data and making observations to help define these relationships in a forest, meadow, aquatic and cultivated garden habitat.
PLEASE NOTE THIS CLASS IS GEARED TOWARD CHILDREN WITH THEIR ADULT COMPANIONS.
Participants will be reminded to practice social distancing during the program and each family unit will receive a set of sanitized supplies to either borrow or take home to aid in their exploration.

Materials will not be shared between participants.

Group size will not exceed current state restrictions of 25 including an instructor.
This class is held entirely outdoors.

Participants should dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

In case of inclement weather, a rain date will be communicated.
Admission is included.
