Join us on a search for some of the birds of prey that make the Fells their home.
Session begins with a brief primer on behavior and techniques for identifying different raptor species.
Binoculars are strongly recommended (limited pairs available to lend).
Bring water, bug spray, sunblock, and a snack.

Approx. 3 miles, moderate difficulty with some rocky terrain.
Best for ages 8 and up.

From Winthrop St. in Medford, take a right onto Steve Miller Drive into the Medford H.S. grounds. At your first intersection, take another right towards the front entrance to the school. Pass the school, take a left. The 'Mustang Loop' trailhead will be 200 ft. ahead on your left, across from the Bistro 489 entrance. Parking is available at the trailhead.
