Looking for a not-so-spooky Halloween event for the family?Wondering what, or who, makes all of those noises at night?
Join us at Rocky Woods in Medfield for a nature craft, full moon hike, and s’mores around the campfire (weather permitting)!
We will make a craft as we learn about the creatures of the night, and then we will take a fun walk under the full moon around Chickering Pond (approximately 1/2 mile).
As we walk, we will learn that the night noises aren’t that scary, they are just the animals talking to each other!
When we arrive back at the cabin, the fire will be lit, and we will make s’mores and drink apple cider.
Costumes safe for hiking and being near a campfire are encouraged!
Event is rain or shine.
This hike is appropriate for nature explorers ages 3 – 8 and their families.
