Seniors are invited to a Chanukah celebration featuring the Maimonides Elementary School choral group and a lecture comparing and contrasting the Maccabee War with the 1948 Arab-Israeli War on Tuesday, December 7 from 2-4pm at Temple Ohabei Shalom (1187 Beacon Street) in Brookline. Leading the lecture will be Daniel Brosgol, executive director of Kesher Newton and past associate director at Prozdor. Cost is $5.
The program is sponsored by JCC Without Walls, a collaboration of Congregation Kehillath Israel, the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston, Temple Ohabei Shalom and Young Israel of Brookline to serve the needs of senior adults.
