Chanukah is about miracles, lights and never giving up in the face of great adversity. The lights will never give up at this family Chanukah celebration on Sunday, December 5 at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton from 3-5:30pm.
Children will enjoy making glowing craft projects, participating in a Chanukah sing-along, eating sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts), sharing in a community menorah lighting and watching the premiere of the North America-wide Shalom Sesame TV episode of Chanukah: The Missing Menorah. Geared towards families with children ages 2 and up.
$10 per family to attend the entire event. No charge to attend the Shalom Sesame premiere only (will be shown at 5pm). Open to the entire community. Register online at jccgb.org/miracle or contact
617-558-6414.
