The festivities begin at noon on Sunday, February 12th in historic Winthrop Park with a lion dance around the ancient oak tree.
Immediately following the dance, join in the festivities as we parade through Harvard Square, past red and gold silk lanterns festooning the wrought iron lampposts on Massachusetts Avenue, and onward to our final destination, The Hong Kong Restaurant.
The Hong Kong, a venerable Harvard Square institution since 1956, opens its doors and welcomes the public for an afternoon of food, art and music.
These family friendly activities begin at 1:00pm and conclude at 3:00pm. The Hong Kong stands as a shining example of the diverse cultures and cuisine that one can find in Harvard Square.
