Come dance with Miriam as she crosses the Red Sea…Rabbi-to-be Adina Allen will lead a joyful Shabbat evening service for families. She will integrate creative movement into this celebration embodying themes of the Exodus.
Adina Allen is a third year rabbinical student at Hebrew College who is interested in the intersection of Judaism, ecology, and embodiment. She is the co-founder of the Movement Minyan, a prayer community that explores dynamics of traditional prayer through the body.
Adina re-imagines the world we live in by combining time-honored prayers with innovative ritual practice and movement. This program is supported in part by a grant by CJP’s Innovation Grants Committee.
