July 4th Celebration in Newton

Kids Morning events are 10am - Noon, for children ages 3 - 12 years in Newton Center Playground at Tyler Terrace. Join in the Grande Pet Parade, Teddy Bear parade, Decorated Doll Carriage Promenade, and foot races.
Free ice cream, candy and drinks. The all-day events are at the Russell J. Halloran sports & Field Complex in Newton. Kiddie amusement rides, face painting, kids' activities, terrific craft booths and several food vendors on site all day.
6:00pm Music and dancing with the Bo & Bill Winiker Band. Bring blankets and lawn chairs! At 9pm don't miss the spectacular fireworks display, by Newton's own Tony Gentile, Master of Fireworks.
