Join us in the First Night Boston celebration with activities throughout the day and to view performances by three groups: The Chinese Dulcimer Guzheng Youth Band, Odaiko New England, and Back Bay Ringers.

Ring in the New Year with The Mary Baker Eddy Library!

New Year’s Eve 2013 will be another great celebration as the Library participates in Boston’s First Night event. There will be engaging activities throughout the day to keep families involved and excited, including face painting, winter themed arts and crafts, and crown making for the city-wide parade, and musical performances by three groups:
* 11:30 a.m.: The Chinese Dulcimer Guzheng Youth Band
* 1:30 p.m.: Odaiko New England (Japanese taiko drummers)
* 3 p.m.: Back Bay Ringers (community handbell ensemble

Official First Night Boston buttons will be available for purchase at the Library through December. Individuals who present First Night Button’s at the Library will receive discounted admission through February, 2013.
