Maccabees and Cheese! A Chanukah Celebration
(284 Broadway) in Arlington on Thursday, December 10 from 4:30-6pm.
Chanukah is not just about latkes!
The custom of cheese for Chanukah stems from the Book of Judith, a celebrated Jewish heroine who saved her village by distracting the Assyrian army’s general with wine and salty cheese.
Make Maccabee shields of valor.
Sing Chanukah songs with Ari Marcovksi.
Build a giant menorah from boxes of macaroni and cheese to be donated to the Arlington Food pantry.
Mac & Cheese snack served.
Please feel free to drop off boxes of macaroni and cheese for donation to Ready, Set, Kids!

Geared for families with young children.
