Make Valentines with US Love Stamps
The Spellman Museum of Stamps & Postal History at Regis College in Weston is holding its annual Valentine Making Day on Saturday, February 10 from 11:00 to 3:00.
The Museum has thousands of United States Love stamps issued over the years that visitors can use to decorate their cards and envelopes as well as make Valentine gifts such as mugs, frames and bookmarks.
Volunteers will help with instructions.
The museum will also provide stationery and free postage if you send your card from the Museum.
People can come anytime during the event.
There will be Love stamps on display along with special Post Office cancellations from towns including Valentine, Texas; Loveland, Colorado, Loving, New Mexico; and Romance, Arkansas.
In addition, the Museum will have on exhibit of stamps celebrating Black History Month and children can make a free collection to take home of famous African Americans on stamps.
